White City Stadium was the venue for the 1908 Olympic Games. It was purchased by the Greyhound Racing Association in 1937, became their second Greyhound track and main headquarters. Gilbert Holiday is a renown artist for painting equestrian and racing scenes. During WW1 he worked as a reconnaissance artist.
