This is an original 1920 illustration from 'Punch' magazine by Cyril Kenneth Bird (A.K.A. Fougasse). Fougasse first contributed to 'Punch' while convalesing from injury in WW1. During WW2, he went on to produce many propaganda images for the Ministry of Information.

The print is in excellent condition considering its age.

The print is 21 x 27 cm (approx 9 x 11 inches or c.A4) in size.

The illustration was released just prior to the international 'Five Nations' match between England and Wales, played at St Helens on 17 January 1920. Wales won the contest 19-5.
