United Nations: "Citizens of the future"

This is an early post war propaganda poster issued by the United Nations (UN) to promote their philosophy of peace. Note the flag of Canada which was changed in 1965.

The poster is in excellent condition considering its age.

The poster is 67 x 99 cm (approx 26 x 39 inches or c.A0) in size.

The UN was first muted in 1942 (during the second World War) between 26 nations who came together to address the 'Axis Powers'. In 1944 the initial Charter of a United Nations was produced. A year later in October 1945 the Charter was approved fully establishing and bringing into existance the United Nations. Upon inauguration 50 nations signed up to the Charter.
