V1 Bomb: "Adolph's Farewell"

This is an original 1944 illustration from 'Punch' magazine by Leslie Gilbert Illingworth titled "Adolph's Farewell to his Stunt".

The print is in excellent condition considering its age.

The print is 21 x 27 cm (approx 8 x 11 inches or c.A4) in size.

The illustration was released during the autumn of 1944 when attacks from the German 'Vengance Weapon 1' were at their height. The 'Doodlebugs' were launched from the French coast for four months, until the Allied Forces captured their lauch sites in October 1944.
